ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD OPEN HOUSE
Wednesday, September 24, 2008 – 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Medical Society of New Jersey will host an Electronic Medical Record Open House where physicians and practice managers can visit with a dozen different EMR vendors and “test drive” their systems. The Open House will be an educational program on EMR and Health Information Technology (HIT). We will be joined by Assemblyman Herb Conaway who will be speaking about state legislation related to EMR/HIT and Bill O’Byrne from the Department of Banking and Insurance will be speaking about state regulation and Department initiatives related to EMR/HIT. There will also be an open discussion of successes and failures facilitated by Stevie Davidson with Health Informatics Consulting, LLC, a Bronze Level MSNJ Corporate Partner.
