Monmouth-Ocean County Medical Society

On July 1, 2013, the Monmouth County Medical Society, (Est. 1816) and the Ocean County Medical Society, (Est. 1850) officially merged into one organization, the Monmouth-Ocean Medical Society. The Monmouth-Ocean Medical Society, (MOMS) will continue to meet the needs of physicians and their patients in Monmouth and Ocean County.
MOMS has over 800 members representing all medical specialties. The purposes of this Society are:
To organize the licensed physicians of Monmouth & Ocean County.
To unite with other component Societies of the Medical Society of New Jersey.
To advance the art and science of medicine; elevate professional standards; safe-guard the interests of, and promote friendly relations among members of the medical profession.
To promote the betterment of public health, to enhance the high standards of medical ethics and honorable conduct by and among the members of the medical profession.
