Processing Claims

Physicians and their office staff are burdened everyday with the challenge of processing insurance claims. This is true for claims made against the managed care companies as well as government programs. Unfortunately, there is no single solution to this situation. MSNJ has pursued this issue on several fronts. We have established a special section, Medical Practice Managers Section, to help fellow practice managers face the myriad issues of claims processing. We have established a Claims Assistance Program, through which members can obtain direct assistance from msnj staff. We are also participating in six class-action lawsuits to address the most prevalent problems and egregious practices of major healthcare insurers.
