What if there were no Medical Society?

The Medical Society of New Jersey serves as the voice of physicians in the Garden State.

    Healthcare Policy Advocacy

We use the collective strength of our physician members to have an impact on legislation, regulations, and managed care.

MSNJ concentrates its physician advocacy in the areas of practice autonomy, access to care, quality of care, and tort reform.

Over the past several years MSNJ is leading the effort to build transparency and disclosure by insurers, hospitals and physicians so that patients are fully aware of physician and facility charges and what their insurer will pay for their care. Patients who buy health insurance deserve to know how much their insurer will pay and how much their doctor will charge for healthcare services.

    Member Benefits

We offer valuable benefits, such as our Claims Assistance Program, practice management assistance, and a cadre of preferred vendors who offer discounts to MSNJ members. We also address the physician’s bottom line by decreasing the number of insurance claim denials and obtaining timely reimbursement for services.

Health, Professional Liability & Workers Comp Products

We offer high quality, low cost insurance products to keep practice expenses low for our members. Need a trusted advisor to review your insurance policies? We can review both business and personal policies to assure the best coverage at the best rates. This is a free service available to our members. In many cases we can save our members more than the cost of membership every year.

We have discount programs for large groups, young physicians and 100 percent practice membership. To see if you qualify contact us at
